It's a good thing I have such a stern task master behind me . . . to remind me that BeadFest is only a few months away and that I need to have a decent amount of inventory!!! Well, she's right (don't let her know, it'll get to her head) so here I've been slaving for 3 days and this is all I came up with :( looks like I better put up a cot in the studio, lol!!!
Oh!!!! How could I forget to add this studio picture . . . . . my "lovebug" keeping me company!!!!

My first time out and even through some trials and tribulations I managed to have fun and go a little out of my normal routine to create this Spring inspired necklace. Many thanks to Diana for getting this team together and getting the creative juices flowing by giving me/us this pleasant task and lovely focal bead to boot. . . . .

Today we are putting to rest my little brother. He was 50, but will always be my "little" annoying, instigating, irritating, loving, caring, adorable little brother even though he towered over me . . . . I can not describe the range of emotions I've been through, because they change by the minute.
But first and foremost is shock, I keep shaking my head and repeating "no, no, no it can't be. . . he can't be gone from my life forever. . . . no" I miss him so much!
Where do we go from here? When will this numbness be gone and Dear Lord when will that godawful pain stop!!!!
This was taken on Christmas Eve 2011 . . . . .

I'm finally getting it together and posting my little mushrooms in my etsy store, these were a blast to make. I think they are absolutely adorable, not even an inch tall. I'm very pleased at the way they came out. . . . I also made up some with the components already on them, just waiting for the camera to charge, lol.

I was out in the studio but forgot to bring my creativity with me . . . and I idly playing with the glass and ended up making these adorable teeni-tiny beads, the smallest is 7mm round!!!! I love them, and "yes" I'll be making more today. I did make more mushrooms also and will be listing them in my etsy shop soon.

I was puttering in the studio the other day with no inspiration at all . . . and was just idly creating a blob of glass on the mandrill when I noticed this adorable little shape emerging! I was tickled at how cute they came out, the mushrooms themselves are barely an inch tall. I'm waiting for bails I ordered so I can post them on etsy. . . . .

Here's what I did to Kristi's beautiful copper ammonite focal. . . . . . I used sterling silver and plenty of other oceanic embellishments.
